Empowering Families With Allergy and Asthma Education

    Allergy & Asthma Friendly House

Do you know what you need to do to make your house a safe place to be with allergies and asthma? I can teach you about the most common asthma triggers in a home, where to find them, and what to do about them.

    Asthma Action Plans

Are you unsure what to do to treat your asthma? Your doctor can help you develop an Asthma Action Plan, which has green, yellow and red zones. She can help you understand what asthma inhaler to use when you are having an asthma attack or are sick. She can also help you know when you need to go to the hospital

    Delivery Devices

Did you know that there are three different delivery devices (or types of inhalers. I'll help you understand if your inhaler is a Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) or Soft Mist Inhaler.

    Inhalers

We can help you understand different inhalers - controller inhalers for every day use, and reliever inhalers for when your are having an asthma attack or are sick.

    Nebulizers

This compressor turns liquid asthma medicine into an easy to inhale mist. Nebulizers can be a better option if you are struggling to inhale due to an asthma flare, bronchitis, pneumonia or COVID.

These handheld devices are another tool to help you know how your lungs are doing.

    Virtual Trainings

Distance learning can help you understand more about your asthma without traveling to see me.
